PERSONAL TRAINING IN DALLAS, TX

Personal Training for Highland Park and the Park Cities

Twelve minutes down the Tollway. That’s the whole drive.

From University Park it’s 5.9 miles via the Dallas North Tollway. From Highland Park it’s under seven. You get on at the edge of your own neighborhood and exit into the Design District without touching Central, Woodall Rodgers, or downtown. Parking at the studio is free, right at the door.

Here’s the part worth sitting with. The average commute in the Park Cities is 20 minutes. So the drive to train here is shorter than your drive to work, and you already make that one twice a day without thinking about it.

Clients from this side of town tell us the same thing: it’s under twenty minutes and it barely feels like leaving the neighborhood.

Apply for coaching if that’s all you needed to know. Your first appointment is free.

The two kinds of time

People who have built something tend to value one thing above everything else, and it isn’t money. It’s time.

The drive is the obvious kind. Twelve minutes each way, no highway, no circling for parking.

The second kind matters far more, and almost nobody talks about it.

It’s the time you lose training without a plan built for you. The eighteen months on a program that was never going to work for your body. The three years of working around a shoulder nobody properly looked at. The decade of starting in January and stopping in March.

That’s the expensive time. In one study, 585 people ran an identical twelve-week program and their strength gains ranged from nothing at all to roughly 250 percent. Same program. The people at the bottom of that range weren’t lazy. They were running something that didn’t fit them, and they had no way to know.

Twelve minutes of driving is a rounding error next to a lost year.

Who trains here

CEOs, executives, attorneys, business owners. People whose calendars are the hardest thing they own.

Also several SMU students and athletes, who are effectively training in their own backyard, and people coming back from an injury who need someone paying attention rather than a program emailed to them.

What the professionals have in common is a low tolerance for wasted effort. They’re used to hiring specialists, judging them on process rather than price, and not thinking about the problem again once it’s handled. That’s the standard this is built to meet.

What’s here that isn’t closer to home

You have options within a mile of your house. A club. A gym at Preston Center. Trainers who will come to you.

What’s harder to find inside the bubble is fifteen thousand square feet of private training space with the equipment to actually progress on, a coach who assesses you before writing anything, and nutrition handled as part of the coaching rather than sold separately.

That’s the trade. Twelve minutes for something the neighborhood doesn’t have.

How it starts

Your first appointment is free. Sixty minutes, in person, before any training happens.

It covers your goals, training history, how your week actually runs, what you can currently do, and anything that hurts, and it includes a physical assessment. You leave with a starting point, a schedule built around your real week, and a plan you understand.

No obligation at the end of it. If it isn’t a fit, we’d both rather find that out in an hour than in three months.

Apply for coaching and that’s where we’d begin.

The drive, specifically

From the Park Cities, the Dallas North Tollway south is the route. It runs along the western edge of Highland Park, so most people are on it within a few minutes of leaving home, and the exit drops you straight into the Design District.

Google puts University Park at 12 minutes and 5.9 miles, and Highland Park at 13 minutes and 6.9 miles. The Tollway route beats US-75 by about three minutes and nearly three miles.

Parking is free and on site. No garage, no valet, no meter.

Where we’re not the right call

If what you want is someone to come to your house, that isn’t us. If you need clinical nutrition for a diagnosed condition, see a registered dietitian. If you’re mid-rehab with a physical therapist, stay with them and come to us when they’re finished.

Our trainers are strength and nutrition coaches, not physicians or physical therapists. We don’t diagnose or treat anything, and we won’t promise a result by a date.
