Personal training at Gryffon Performance means coaching aligned with your goals, your lifestyle, and your current ability, starting with a comprehensive assessment rather than a guess.
Most people who struggle to make progress on their own aren’t lacking effort. They’re missing structure. A generic program doesn’t know your training history, your schedule, or the joint concerns you’ve been working around. Coached training removes the guesswork: every decision is informed by who you are and where you’re starting from.
Coaching aligned with your goals, lifestyle, and training history.
Sessions run by a coach who understands your program.
Included for every active coaching client.
Adjusted over time as you progress.
Most people arrive having tried the alternatives. An app that didn’t know their history. A program from the internet that didn’t account for a bad shoulder. A trainer who counted reps and called it coaching.
Every session is planned before you get there. Exercises, loads, and progressions are decided in advance and written down, not improvised based on what’s free that day.
Progress is tracked, not remembered. What you lifted, what changed, what’s next. When something stops moving, we know, and we change it.
Nutrition runs alongside the training from the start, not bolted on when the scale stops cooperating.
You get reassessed. The same measures from your Strategy Session, run again, so improvement is something you can see rather than something you hope is happening.
You know why you’re doing what you’re doing. Coaching that only works while someone is standing next to you isn’t coaching.
Coaching begins with the Transformation and Fitness Strategy Session, a 60 minute in person appointment that happens before your first training session. It follows a short phone conversation, so you are not walking in cold.
The hour covers your goals, training history, lifestyle, schedule, current ability, and any pain or joint concerns. It also includes a physical assessment, so your plan is built on what your body actually does today rather than on a questionnaire.
You leave with a clear starting point, a training schedule built around your real week, and a plan you understand. Training usually begins at the next session that fits that schedule, sometimes the following day.
Personal training at Gryffon Performance isn’t one service with add-ons. It’s three things working together, and leaving any of them out is how people stall.
The foundation everything else sits on. Strength is what supports your joints, what keeps muscle on you while you lose fat, and what determines whether you’re still capable at sixty. Trained from wherever you’re starting, not scaled down from an athlete’s program.
Losing weight and losing fat aren’t the same thing. The goal is a body that’s leaner and stronger at the same time, which is why the training and the nutrition can’t be separated. Get this wrong and you end up smaller and weaker than when you started.
Included for every coaching client rather than sold on the side, because training you hard while your nutrition works against you wastes both. Built around your actual week, your schedule, and food you’ll genuinely eat.
Apply for coaching, complete your comprehensive assessment, and start training with structure.
