Straight answers about coaching at Gryffon Performance in Dallas. If yours isn’t here, ask us on the call.
No. Most people who apply are starting from somewhere they’re not happy with, and that’s the point. Every client begins with a comprehensive assessment, so your training starts where you actually are instead of where a generic program assumes you should be. Strength training works at every starting point.
Tell us about it on the call. Aches, old injuries, and joints that don’t feel right are some of the most common reasons people come to us, and they shape how your training gets built. We coach around what your body can do right now and expand from there.
We’re not a medical provider. If something needs a doctor or a physical therapist, go get it looked at. Coaching works alongside that care, not instead of it.
You’ll hear from us within 24 hours. First is a short phone conversation to understand what you’re after and answer your questions.
If it’s a fit, you’ll come in for a Transformation and Fitness Strategy Session. That’s a 60 minute in-person appointment covering your goals, training history, lifestyle, schedule, current ability, and any pain or joint concerns, and it includes a physical assessment. You leave with a clear starting point, a training schedule built around your week, and a plan you understand.
Training begins at the next session that fits that schedule, sometimes the following day.
Most clients train three to five coached sessions a week, 60 minutes each. Where you land depends on your goals and what your week can realistically hold. We’d rather build a schedule you can actually keep than one that looks good on paper and falls apart in month two.
Included. Every active coaching client gets personalized nutrition coaching built around your goals, your schedule, the food you actually like, and what your training demands.
That means calorie and macronutrient guidance, meal structure, practical food recommendations, habit work, and adjustments as things change. Training and nutrition pull in the same direction, so we don’t sell them separately.
Both, and they aren’t separate projects. Losing weight without training usually means losing muscle along with the fat, which is how people end up smaller but not stronger and still not happy with what they see. Coaching here is built to change body composition, so you’re getting leaner while building the muscle underneath.
That’s most of who we coach. Your training schedule gets built around your week during your strategy session. It isn’t handed to you as a fixed block you have to rearrange your life around.
Sessions are by appointment, and we’re open seven days a week, early through evening on weekdays.
It depends on how many coached sessions a week you’re training, and we go over it on the phone call before you ever come in.
Every membership includes the comprehensive assessment and personalized nutrition coaching. So what you’re comparing isn’t a per-session rate against a trainer at a big-box gym who charges separately for anything beyond the hour.
